The dry system involves the use of electric mats or coils to heat up the home which should not be under very thick floor coverings. Running the electric system is a bit more expensive than the water system and it suits already built properties as it does not require technical installations. On the other hand, the water system involves the use of pipes installed and attached to the boiler. The hot water from the boiler is pumped around the rooms and every other area the heat is needed.
The water does not need to be extremely hot as it requires a lower temperature than the traditional radiator which in-turn prolongs the life of the boiler. The water system is mostly best suited for new builds.
